When EasyToys asked me which toy I would like to test, I didn't have to think twice. The LELO Elise 2 has been on my wish list for a long time. The reason I had not bought it myself was mainly because of the investment. So I was delighted when I got the Elise 2 delivered to me for an honest review. To get straight to the point: this is our favorite toy for the time being and perhaps forever!

My partner and I have been looking for a G-spot vibrator with deep vibrations for a while. It had to be suitable for both penetration and clitoral stimulation. And we wanted a vibrator with a luxurious look. We already had our eye on the LELO Elise 2 because it seemed to meet all these requirements, plus a few more. Unboxing
Everything about the LELO Elise 2 exudes luxury. For example, the box is packed in a kind of paper that I mostly associate with luxury disposable napkins. You know: it looks like fabric, but you can easily tear it. If you do tear it, you'll see the Elise 2 will looking back at you through the window.
The LELO Elise 2 comes with a USB charging cable, a sample packet of lubricant, a storage bag, a manual (in very small font) and an activation code for the warranty.
Getting to know the LELO Elise 2
The LELO Elise 2 is a slightly curved G-spot vibrator. It looks simple and yet - or because of that - very beautiful. It is made of silky soft silicone. I notice that the silicone shell of the Elise 2 attracts much less dust than other silicone toys we have. The total length is 22 cm, 13 cm of which can be inserted. The diameter is 3.7 cm at the thickest point.
The Elise 2 is rechargeable with the USB cable. Once charged, you can play with it for up to 4 hours. The cable is very short (about 10 centimeters) and that is a bit disappointing. I don't have a power socket on my nightstand, so it had to sit on the floor (on the storage bag) while charging. What was also a bit disappointing was that it wasn't already partially charged when it arrived. Fortunately, after only a few minutes of charging, we were able to experience what the Elise 2 was capable of. During charging and operation, the control button lights up, adding to the luxury look. After 2 hours the Elise 2 is fully charged.
Any really good sex toy should be waterproof, and this one is. So you can not only use it in the shower or bath, but it's also very easy to clean.
The LELO Elise 2 has a kind of joystick that you can use to operate it. It's actually four buttons: plus, minus, up, down. You use this to operate the two motors. With the plus and minus you can go through the nine different speeds (plus is more intense, minus is less intense).
With the up and down buttons you can switch between eight settings or patterns, if you want. In each mode you can adjust the intensity in each mode with the left/right buttons. Both motors vibrate by default, they're very powerful and yet so quiet! If you press the up arrow, only the bottom motor vibrates. Up again and only the top one vibrates. But then the LELO Elise 2 starts to get really interesting. Because in the next position, the top and bottom vibrate alternately and then it switches back and forth faster. But the coolest setting comes next. Then the vibration builds up from bottom to the top. That feels like the Elise 2 is thrusting! One setting higher and it "thrusts" faster. And finally, you can make it vibrate in completely random patterns.
When you have reached the end of the cycle (both in strength and in patterns) you won' automatically go back to position 1. To do this you have to press the down or minus buttons. If you hold the buttons, you accelerate through the settings and you can easily turn it off again.
This way you operate it and the way you can make the two motors work together is truly unique! There are also toys that actually thrust mechanically (like the Stronic Drei, but it doesn't vibrate; it just thrusts), but LELO has found a clever way to mimic the feeling of thrusting.
The test drive
You can use the LELO Elise 2 externally (clitoris stimulation) and internally (vaginal/G-spot). For clitoral use, of course you'll choose the setting where only the top motor vibrates. Because you have nine speeds, there is actually always a speed that suits your 'mood'. The deep, intense vibrations caused my partner to orgasm every time.
But of course the LELO Elise 2 is not designed for external use only. It is not a G-spot vibrator for nothing, and perhaps one of the very best you can buy! The fact that it can also work well externally is a bonus.
The way the LELO Elise 2 makes the motors work together to mimic thrusting movements is - like I said - quite an invention. The vibrations go up and down through the staff, so you really feel like it is thrusting. In fact, it does it so well that it looks like it is swelling. Normally we don't like vibrators with vibrating patterns (which is why that last setting with random patterns doesn't really interest us either). We like to stick to constant vibrations. But the way the Elise 2 makes the different engines work together can't really be called a pattern. No vibrator we have ever tried can create this feeling!
What's really great is that you are able to vary the intensity of each setting. This allows you to determine for yourself how intensely you want to experience the feeling. And with nine speeds, you can fine-tune that pretty well. We were extremely impressed with the possibilities that you can create with it. No vibrator we know of has these possibilities and at the same time such powerful motors.
The size of the LELO Elise 2 is also very nice. It is not too thick, but also not too thin. The curvature of the staff isn't too exaggerated, making it easy to hit the most sensitive spots, especially at low speeds. It's also nice and heavy, which makes it easy to hold. The silky smooth silicone "skin" feels lovely to the touch.
Conclusion
If you are looking for a luxury and unique G-spot vibrator, look no further. Yes, it is quite an investment, but trust me, this might be the best there is to buy. It's beautifully designed and the way you can play with the motors is truly unprecedented.
