      The valve is not perfect and actually works more as a tool for beginners. It prevents liquid from accidentally flowing back in during flushing. If you close the hole at the back (valve) with a finger, it will still suck, like a normal douche.
      The Nexus makes a bubbling sound when filling with air, which is not super quiet. So keep that in mind if you have housemates.
      Filling is also not super convenient, and I would have liked to have a matching funnel.

      I personally found this really very awkward, had a hard time filling it with water (even with instructions video) and also I got so much air inside which made me get really bad cramps afterwards. I personally prefer a piece that you can turn on the shower head, although you have to be careful that then your water is at the right temperature and you don't use too much water.
