We-Vibe Moxie

I got to test a new EasyToys toy. This time, it is the We-Vibe Moxie. I instantly got excited after searching for the toy on Easytoys’ website! A mobile vibrator that can be worn without anyone ever noticing? Very promising indeed. I will take you with me on my journey of testing this product.

Receipt

The We-Vibe Moxie was packaged in a blank brown box, just like I’m used to from EasyToys. The label only stated my name and my address, so that one can not derive that this is in fact an EasyToys package. I opened the box and I found the smaller box containing the Moxie. It’s quite a simple box which clearly shows what’s inside and the box also clearly shows the product name and the We-vibe brand logo. After opening this package, the Moxie itself and the remote were visible. At first glance, it appeared quite small to me, but this would be expected, considering you want to wear it discreetly! In addition to these, the package contains a nice white satin bag, an extra magnet, the charger, the manual and a small bag of lube. The only thing left for me to do before getting into the fun, is charging my brand new Moxie!

Specifications We-Vibe Moxie

The We-Vibe Moxie is a silicone vibrator, turquoise in colour. The Moxie is 8.50 cm in length and about 2 cm wide. The vibrator is meant for clitoris stimulation. Included with the Moxie is quite a long charger cable, being 90 cm long! With this cable, you can charge the Moxie in about 90 minutes, provided that you have a (USB) charging block. It is a pity that each toy has a unique charger cable, so that you always need to group the toy with the correct cable. When charged, the Moxie can be used for two hours! According to the description on EasyToys, the sound level of the Moxie is “normal”. It has 10 different vibration settings that can be tuned via the Moxie itself, the included remote or through the We-Connect app. Turning on the Moxie can be done by pressing and holding the button for a few seconds. With each button press after turned on, it cycles through the settings. With the remote and the app you can also modify the intensity of the Moxie. The intended use of the toy is to wear it in your underwear. By clipping the magnet from the outside and the Moxie on the inside, it will be fixed at that position.

Use

The We-Vibe Moxie can be controlled by using the button on the device itself, with the remote or with the We-Connect app. You can place the Moxie in your thong or panties by fixing it in place - similar to a panty liner - with a magnet. A rather thick panty liner, but that makes it easier to press it against your clitoris by crossing your legs. The button on the device is quite hard to reach when it is in place, so I recommend that you connect either the app or the remote before putting it in place.

As soon as I switched on the Moxie, it gave off quite intense vibrations! Because both the intensity and the setting can be changed, there will always be a specific setting to your taste. Playing with the toy’s settings and by crossing or moving your legs make this a very good vibrator for your underwear. It is small enough so that it doesn’t stand out while wearing. However, the magnet is visible on the outside. Since I do not own turquoise underwear, it looks really silly. At the lowest intensity, it becomes quite hard to hear it, especially in crowded places, but people will definitely hear it at the highest intensity. Therefore, I don’t think that you can wear the Moxie discreetly in public spaces. All in all, this really is a nice underwear-vibrator.

Unfortunately, there are also some major problems, especially with controlling the toy. As I mentioned before, while wearing the device, the control button on the device itself is unreachable. Therefore, one must use either the remote or the app to control the app. The included remote works fine, but the range of the remote isn’t that large. Sometimes the Moxie just doesn’t respond to the remote’s instructions, if there’s just a meter and a leg in between. Due to the simplistic design of the remote, it’s still not clear to me which button does what. The app on the other hand, provides a nice overview of all different settings of the Moxie!

With the app you can control your Moxie by connecting to it via Bluetooth. When the Moxie is paired, you can change the setting by swiping left and right. The intensity can be modified by swiping up or down, so quite intuitive controls. In addition to this, there are other modes such as the music mode and an ambient-noise mode. In music mode you can choose a song from the local files on your phone and the Moxie will vibrate on the beat of your favourite songs. In ambient-noise mode, it will do the same thing, except it will pick up sounds from the environment using the phone’s microphone. There is also the special touch-mode, with which you can swipe and tap to take over full control of your Moxie! If your partner has installed the app as well, he or she can connect to your app and control your Moxie remotely as well!

A major drawback of the app is that it keeps disconnecting. Again and again you need to connect to the Moxie. Whenever the connection fails, there will be no direct notification within the app, but you will simply not be able to control the app anymore. You won’t be able to change the setting or intensity, and you can also not pause the toy. It’s a shame that you can’t rely on the app and that you can’t stop it immediately, if that would be necessary.

I also didn’t quite understand why the app requires so many permissions. In order to connect to your Moxie, you will need to enable Bluetooth, which I understand, but you also need to allow the app to collect your GPS-data. The in-app notification states that the GPS data is required to improve Bluetooth. They also made the ambient-sound and the music mode one single function, so that you need to give permission for both using your microphone and access to your file system if you want to use one of the two functionalities.

While controlling the Moxie can be a problem, I must say that this toy feels very comfortable to wear. The vibrations that the toy produces are transferred to the perfect position! It’s also nice to give control to your partner. I wore the Moxie for a whole afternoon, up to a point that I forgot it was there. Then, my boyfriend activated the Moxie on the highest intensity! That really made some impact! Even at the lowest intensity I got very horny. That’s something I would dare to do in a public space.

Conclusion

The Moxie is a good underwear-vibrator. It fits nicely - even in a thong - and it will keep its position. It’s comfortable and it won’t lead to any discomfort after wearing it for a while. The vibrations are reaching the right positions at the clitoris and by moving your legs, you can enhance this feeling even more! Controlling the Moxie is a major problem. It is quite a mood killer if you’re almost at your climax, but the Moxie simply doesn’t respond anymore...

Absolutely recommend the We-Vibe!

My wife and I were looking for a fun new toy that we could use to make life a little more exciting. After a lot of searching, we came across the Moxie from We-Vibe, of which we have already bought a few toys. The Moxie does 100% what we expected of it and is very pleasant to use. It is also a very nice design and the turquoise color makes it even more playful. Opinion of my wife: fits well and feels very nice.

So definitely don't hesitate to get this gadget into your home!

Had many exciting hours in different restaurants with this. Super arousing public foreplay which allows for intense sex afterwards. Just too bad it spontaneously turns off when you haven't used it for a while. Have to figure out why
